Days of Labeling Irratation

Christmas time/ the holidays seems to be a time of hustle and bustle and in general many people seem to find it stressing, for more reasons then one. Holidays it seems are no longer about actually relaxing but cramming everything that the 9-5 work week seems to prevent you doing. I feel more people on their holiday should do nothing or very close to it taking time for long baths reading, napping and having long unhurried coffees with friends. Though I have begun to question what are the factors of stress, it seems something is missing when trying to relax becomes stressful what what is the cause of the stress. Labeling of course! For Christmas I received a book called Oneness With All Life by Eckhart Tolle, I'm not very far but it contains very reasonable true information . In the first few pages it has helped me to realise that no matter what I'm doing their is no difference work and relaxing can be equaly stressful depending on how you choose to think and label the event of sitation. Thinking about the sitation and labling it good or bad allows us to seperate the actual event from reality. If you allow yourself to step outside of your situation and look at it objectively as nethier good or bad you will begin to see how it fits it to the larger scale of things which are all related.Once you are able to distance your self from these thoughts you are then able to control it.The sayings life is what you make of it or beauty is in the eye of the beholder should ring true and sensible.

  1. true, true, allways a choice, with our minds we can fly in our dreams while our reality in that same moment is moping a floor or having a good long bath
